Shawn Larson’s role has evolved with the growth of AJW Financial, as has her career. She spent 15 years in various biotechnology positions before joining the firm — looking for an opportunity to work more closely with people than just technical data. Her knack with people blossomed as clients implicitly trusted Shawn for thoughtful and timely answers backed by well-researched financial information.
Working closely with Amy and clients, Shawn prepares expense histories, balance sheets and net worth statements. She also researches information for asset allocation, retirement projections and investment strategies. She covers all the bases to help clients make informed decisions.
Day to day, Shawn often fields calls from clients about everything from last-minute document requests and big-ticket purchases to how to deal with a sudden loss of income or an inheritance. She makes sure that she or Amy provides an answer to help clients feel confident and move forward.
Shawn also acts as the compliance and marketing coordinator for AJW Financial. Multi-tasking is a clear strength that Shawn uses to keep timelines flowing inside and outside the firm. “No matter what’s going on, I keep focused and make sure things get done,” she says.
